Changing the world one book at a time...
At Generation 2050 we believe in the power of story-telling to change the world for the better. We publish humane education stories which inspire and empower children to become responsible world citizens who will act with compassion, respect and take responsibility for the well-being of other people, animals and the planet.
Kitten Rescue Tales Anthology
We will be launching our new title 'Kitten Rescue Tales' on feral cat day 16th October 2017.
Kitten Rescue Tales is a children's book anthology containing two heart-warming stories of real life kitten rescues. Join us on a humane education adventure from the backstreets of London to the Las Alpujarras mountains in Spain.
The profits from the sale of this book will be donated to Cats of Las Alpujarras, who run a Trap-Neuter-Release program in Spain and whose founder Kathering Napper wrote 'The Trash-Bag Warriors' story featured in the book. You can also choose to donate a copy of the story in Spanish to the Cats of Las Alpujarras humane education initiative as well.
Story 1: Nimai and Syama: From Neglect to Love...
By Vicky Alhadeff
Nimai and Syama were neglected kittens made to sleep outside and beg for food. When animal lover Vicky noticed they weren’t taken care of and an icy winter crept upon their garden home, she began her journey to rescue them and show that some people are worthy of their trust.
Story 2: The Trash-Bag Warriors
By Katherine Napper
Follow the journey of two very special warrior kittens who were cruelly dumped in a trash-bag in Spain shortly after birth and then thankfully rescued by Cats of Las Alpujarras. Watch them grow and develop as they fight against the odds to survive after a rough start in life.
